Planting shrubs, trees, mulching.
Escondido, CA
2/23-10/23
This was an ongoing project that started early in the year- holes needed to be dug for trees and landscaping plants- the ground was foundation clay, and we needed a jackhammer to remove the heavy earth and to make holes sufficient enough to fill with fertile soil for the trees/plants to take root. After planting and setting up the necessary irrigation, we laid landscaping fabric for weed suppression, and then laid roughly 30 yards of mulch around the entire property. All excess dirt was removed from the property, ( around 10,000 lbs).

Install a Brick, Stone or Block Wall
Nathan is a hard worker, dependable and communicates well during the entire project. He built a brick/stone garden area under my front window with a small wall surrounding my grass in the front yard and then planted a garden . He also painted a rod fence in my back yard. Very creative with ideas.

Lawn & Yard Waste Clean Up
Expanded the stone area in the backyard There was a substantial amount of sod to remove. Nathan replaced border material, removed dead grass areas and leveledout the yard, and replaced with loose stones to connect the side areas in a sweeping design. The wrought iron fence also required painting, to enhance the backyard facelift. Nathan sanded the fence, diligently making sure every inch of the rusted areas received attention. Nathan is a responsible, diligent worker, and I would hire him for future projects. He is pleasant and honest.
Mulch, Pavers, Plants, Edging and
decomposed granite path.
Oceanside, CA. 8/22-8/23
This was an ongoing project in which I was originally contracted to install bamboo plants in an existing stone bed, plus irrigation and a small fence to encompass. She also had us remove an existing 100 square foot paver deck. After that, the homeowner kept us on to remove many existing plants, and add a series of tropical plants and trees, plus adding new composite bender board edging around her existing decomposed granite walkways. Once the trees and plants were put in, we installed 30 cubic yards of walk on mulch. We did some work for the neighbor, shown in the section below, and eventually the homeowner had us back to install terracotta pavers like we did for her neighbors, as well as a California Gold decomposed granite walkway.
